About Gatekeeper's Log

Gatekeeper’s Log is a small editorial site about one practical problem: how to put a sensible control layer between AI agents and the MCP servers and tools they call. We write for platform engineers, security reviewers, founders and developers who are choosing or operating a gateway. We try to be specific about limits and to say when a source is a vendor’s own claim. We use BusinessMCP’s published MCP tool catalogue in several examples because its documentation is public and easy to check, and we also discuss open source and self-hosted alternatives.
